We strive to keep our patient’s oral health in the best condition by educating every patient that walks through our doors. We offer services to fix teeth that are abscessed, missing, cracked or decayed.

Root Canal

A root canal is indicated when a tooth has become infected or abscessed. The pulp is the soft tissue inside of a tooth that becomes infected and needs to be removed. It contains the nerve, blood vessels and connective tissue of a tooth. When a root canal is performed the pulp is removed from the tooth but the tooth is able to remain in the mouth. This is a painless procedure that is a wonderful restorative option enabling a patient to keep their original tooth. When a root canal is completed a crown needs to be placed over the tooth.

Crowns

A crown or cap is placed over a tooth that is cracked, decayed or broken. When a crown is recommended by your dentist it is usually because the tooth has a large existing filling and cannot be restored by another filling. Crowns are also indicated after a tooth has had a root canal. Crowns are commonly made of porcelain, gold or a combination of the two.

Fixed:

Bridges

A bridge, which is also called a fixed partial denture, is an option to replace one or more missing teeth. The teeth surrounding the missing tooth are crowned and attached together by an artificial tooth that replaces the missing tooth. A bridge is permanently placed in your mouth and supported by natural teeth or implants. A bridge can be made of porcelain, gold or a combination of the two.

Implants

An implant is another option for replacing missing teeth. An implant is usually made of titanium and replaced the root of a tooth in the bone. It does involve a surgical procedure to place the implant within the bone. It can take several months for the implant to integrate with the bone. After the integration process has occurred a crown is attached to the implant. Implant success is extremely high and is a restoration option that is closest to a natural tooth.

Removable:

Removable Partial Denture

A removable partial denture can be fabricated to replace multiple missing teeth. It is usually made of an acrylic base plate that may or may not connect to a metal framework with acrylic or metal clasps that attach to the remaining teeth in the mouth. It comes in and out of the mouth making it easy to clean.

Complete Dentures

A denture is indicated when there are no remaining teeth or if the remaining teeth need to be extracted due to severe tooth decay, periodontal disease, etc. A series of appointments are needed to make your custom dentures. Adhesives or implants can be placed to help support your denture. A consultation is recommended for questions or concerns about a denture.
